Week 8: Sunday and Monday Night Football Bets
We have some huge games coming up for week 8 of the National FOotball League season. We are going to talk a bout the biggest games, which are typically played on Sunday Night and Monday Night. In both of these games, divisional races are on the line. On Sunday Night, the Dallas Cowboys take on the Philadelphia Eagles. On Monday Night, the Kansas City Chiefs and San Diego Chargers will get together. Here are our bets for both those games:
Dallas Cowboys @ Philadelphia Eagles -3
The Cowboys and Eagles have played a bunch of memorable games in this long storied history. Dallas is 3-3 and in second place, while Philadelphia is currently 2-4, and last place in the NFC East. Dallas is coming off their big win over the St. Louis Rams, while Philadelphia is coming off their bye. After losing four in a row, the Eagles beat Washington to get back into the divisional race. The Cowboys are looking to control the football, because they have the tendency to turn it over in key spots. Philadelphia will hope to get great production from their star quarterback Michael Vick, as well as LeSean McCoy. These two teams are pretty similiar, but in the end, we really feel the home field advantage will give the Eagles the edge. Bet the Philadelphia Eagles -3 over the Dallas Cowboys.
San Diego Chargers -3 @ Kansas City Chiefs
The Monday Night Footballg ame features the San Diego Chargers at the Kansas City Chiefs. San Diego is coming off a loss to the Jets. Their other loss this season came against the New England Patriots. San Diego is barely in first place in the division. After three straight losses, the Kansas City Chiefs have wont hree straight games. The Chiefs are looking to win the division for the second straight season. Kansas City is back at .500, despite numerous key injuries. This game is pretty simple for us – sure the Chiefs are at home, but we feel the Chargers are just much more athletic. We are betting the San Diego Chargers -3 on the road at Kansas City.
