NFL Week 3 Quick Pick: Packers @ Bears
The defending Super Bowl champion Green Bay Packers have been just as advertised in the first two weeks of the season as they were able to hold off the New Orleans Saints in the season opener and top rookie phenom Cam Newton and the Carolina Panthers in Week 2.
Despite being a perfect 2-0 heading into Week 3, the Packers did show some flaws on defense over the past two weeks and could potentially suffer their first loss of the season against the arch rival Chicago Bears as a result. The sports betting picks line for this is -3.5 for the visiting Packers.
The Chicago Bears started off their season with a bang as they surprised everyone by destroying the Atlanta Falcons in Week 1, but then they were put back in their place in Week 2 with a disappointing loss to a much better New Orleans Saints squad led by NFL MVP candidate Drew Brees.
In Week 3, the Green Bay Packers and the Chicago Bears will go head-to-head in a divisional battle that will be a rematch of last season’s NFC Championship game. As everyone knows, the Packers dominated that game last year by putting quarterback Jay Cutler on his back and eventually on the sidelines.
This year the Packers will look to do the same as the Bears offensive line is just as weak as it was last time by giving up 11 sacks in the first two games of the season.
As of right now, the Green Bay Packers are favored to get the best of their division rivals in Week 3 with a -4 point spread. This game could go either way considering that it will be played on the Bears home field in the Windy City, but I would take the champs to come out on top.
Take the Packers at -4.
