Dolphins Getting Tired of Bill Lazor Play Calling
The Dolphins sport a winning record of 5 – 4, and in the last two weeks they have enjoyed goose-egging the high-quality San Diego team 37 – 0, and then nearly beating a Detroit Lions, that is considered one of the best teams in the NFL, 16 – 20 .
Despite this recent success, reports are surfacing that Dolphins players are not happy with first-time offensive coordinator Bill Lazor. There are a number of complaints: deep threat Mike Wallace is not being utilized correctly. Ryan Tannehill is not given enough time to audible at the line. Some of the complaints focus not on Lazor’s play-calling but his individual personality, claiming he is too “abrasive”.
So there you have it: Dolphins offensive coordinator Bill Lazor is not incredibly popular in his locker room. But as long as Miami keeps winning more games than they lose, don’t expect it to be much of an issue.
