Ben Roethlisberger Sets Record for Most Touchdowns in Back-to-Back Games
Big Ben has been on fire lately. The 32-year-old quarterback seems to age like fine wine, in the past two weeks he has made history by throwing for 6 touchdowns in back-to-back games. No one in NFL history has ever thrown for a combined 12 touchdowns in 2 consecutive games.
What makes this record-setting performance all the sweeter is that is resulted in a victory over their division rival, the Baltimore Ravens. The Steeler have now won 3 straight games and sit in second place in the AFC North with a record of 6 – 3, just a game behind division leader Cincinnati Bengals. If the Steelers offense keeps playing at these historically-high level, it may be enough to cover up a once feared defense that is now aging and tearing at the seams and send the Steelers off on a deep playoff run.
After a shaky start to the season, Steelers fan and legendary rapper Snoop Dogg called out offensive coordinator Todd Haley on social media and saying, among other things, “”Fire that motherf**ker!”. Now that Haley seems to have figured out how to best utilize his personnel, Snoop Dogg can finalize relax, if only he could find a way…
