Week 10: Sunday + Monday Night Football
Are you ready for some Football? We know we are. We have looked at this week, and decided there are some great games to be played, but a very tough week to bet on. We are very excited for the two games we are about to talk about though. The Sunday Night Football game and Monday Night Football game are always some of the best match-ups of the week. Now, the Monday Night Football game may not be the most competitive of games, but it’s two big rivals going together, and alot on the line for the defending champions. We feel the betting lines on both of these games are good, and will both be pretty close. Here are our Sunday Night Football and Monday Night Football bets for week 10 in the National Football League:
New England Patriots -1.5 over New York Jets
The New England Patriots are looking to snap their two game losing streak in this one. New England saw a rare loss at home last week to the New York Giants. The Patriots and Jets are tied at the top of the AFC East, along with the Buffalo Bills. Tom Brady and the Patriots passing offense continues to be one of the top units in the league. Look for Brady to find Wes Welker early and often in this game. The Jets defense, after struggling early in the season have improved on a weekly basis. Rex Ryan will certainly have his team ready for this game. The Jets offense has question marks, expecially with Plexico Burress being a bit banged up. In the end, we are betting the New England Patriots -1.5 over the New York Jets.
Minnesota Vikings a@ Green Bay Packers -13
Out of the NFC North, the Minnesota Vikings will visit Lambeau Field in Green Bay. The Vikings have not been very good this season, but have improved on the offensive side with Christian Ponder taking over for Donovan McNabb. One key X-factor that the Vikings have in this game, is the stud running back Adrian Peterson. Look for Peterson to have a good game early, but once Green Bay gets a lead and keeps it, they will move away from Peterson. For Green Bay, we feel Aaron Rodgers and company will throw at will over the Vikings. Look for Rodgers to hook up with all his receivers early and often in this one. Our bet for this game is the Green Bay Packers -13 over the Minnesota Vikings. With the win, the Packers will be 9/16ths of the way to a perfect season; one year removed from winning the Super Bowl.
Take a look at these games, and decide what you like for both games. Sure, we are not guaranteed to win all of our bets, but we are fairly confident about both of these games. Be sure to enjoy the weekend of action, and also check back next week for our bets for Week 11 of the National Football League.
